How to Set a Favorable Wedding Date

The process of how to pick a wedding date will be different for every couple. However,you cannot do much with the wedding planning until you have set the wedding date and it is also the first question that will be asked by your friends and family when you announce your engagement. So we came up with some tips to guide you in choosing a wedding date that is perfect for you;

Consider how much time you will need to plan your wedding day; Giving yourselves at least a year to plan your wedding can be helpful for most couples and will give you time to check everything off your list from ordering your wedding dress to booking your wedding reception venue.

Brain storm any dates that are symbolic to you; It is so sentimental and romantic to marry on some dates that mean so much to you,could be the day you first met,your parents’ anniversary or any other significant date.The particular date could be booked for the venue or any must have vendor but you can get pretty close.

Check in with VIPs; You know them! These are the people we couldn’t imagine getting married without. Before picking your wedding date,make sure it works for parents,close friends and anyone else you feel is a must attend.

Talk to your vendors. May be there is a wedding photographer you have followed for years or the band that played at your sibling’s wedding . if there is a key vendor you can’t imagine your wedding day without,be sure to check their availability before you make your chosen date official.
Consider other weddings with overlapping guest lists;If you know another wedding will be occurring in the same year as yours and will have a similar guest list could be for a cousin,sibling or uncle especially if they are to happen in far distant locations,allow for sometime between your dates otherwise you may find guests choosing between one destination or the other.

Conclusion; Your wedding date can majorly impact costs associated with your wedding.Many vendors have seasonal pricing with costs being significantly lower in months that have less demand and the same is true for different days of the week, week days have lower rates than weekends.
